Actualize: Time-controlled Information Bar

Actualize: Time-controlled Information Bar adds an information bar to the top of your Shopware 6 storefront. Use it to communicate promotions, shipping information or maintenance notices, for example. Content is managed through a dedicated section in the Shopware Administration.

You can create multiple bars for each sales channel, with individual messages, appearance settings and display periods. A permanent bar can automatically give way to a scheduled announcement during a promotion and return once that period ends. If scheduled bars overlap, the one with the later start date takes priority.

Multiple messages appear in rotation with a configurable display duration. An optional button directs visitors to a destination of your choice. You can also add a countdown with a target date and time, plus a custom message to display after it expires.

Colours, font size, spacing and button styling can be adjusted for each bar. Choose between full-width and container layouts. Texts and button links can be maintained per language, while a preview supports editing in the Administration.

Actualize: Time-controlled Information Bar is suitable for merchants and agencies that want to manage announcements and promotions centrally and display them according to sales channel, language and schedule.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

According to the project documentation, the extension requires Shopware 6.7 or higher and PHP 8.4 or higher.

Scheduled changes on cached storefront pages may take approximately five minutes to become visible. The shop’s scheduled tasks and message queue must be running correctly. Saving a bar or reaching a scheduled boundary invalidates the page cache across all sales channels.

Appearance, display schedules and countdown targets apply to the entire bar and are not translated per language. The preview is an approximation; the final appearance depends on the active theme. When scheduling around daylight saving time changes, observe the warnings shown in the Administration.
