Actualize: Stock Importer

Actualize: Stock Importer updates stock levels and the active status of existing products using CSV files. Products are matched by their Shopware product number. The extension supports a local directory or an SFTP server as the data source.

Imports can run automatically at configurable intervals through Shopware’s scheduled task system. Alternatively, processing can be started manually using a console command. The import method, interval, backup retention period and SFTP credentials are managed in the plugin configuration.

If a file contains multiple rows for the same product number, the plugin adds their stock quantities together. If at least one of those rows is marked as active, the product is set to active. Before writing changes, the extension compares the imported values with the existing stock level and active status. Unchanged products are skipped.

Processed files are backed up with a timestamp. Backup retention is configurable, and older backup files are removed automatically. Logs record changes alongside previous values and provide a per-file summary of products checked, updated, unchanged or not found.

Actualize: Stock Importer is suitable for merchants who want to regularly transfer stock data from externally supplied CSV files into Shopware.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

According to the project documentation, the extension requires Shopware 6.7 or higher and PHP 8.4 or higher. SFTP functionality requires the phpseclib/phpseclib library in version ^3.0.

CSV files must use semicolons as delimiters and contain the product number, an integer stock quantity and the active status. A value of 1 means active, while 0 means inactive.

The imported quantity replaces the existing Shopware stock value; it is not added to it. According to the documentation, files should supply the available quantity rather than physical stock on hand without accounting for open orders.

For SFTP imports, source files are deleted from the server after a successful download. Subsequent processing and backups take place locally.

Automatic imports require Shopware’s scheduled task processing to be configured and running.
