Actualize: Quote Document

Actualize: Quote Document extends Shopware 6 document management with a “Quote” document type. You can generate quote documents directly in the Administration through the documents section of an existing order.

The plugin creates a dedicated number range for quotes. Numbering starts at 1000 by default and can be adjusted through Shopware’s number range management, including per-sales-channel configuration. The quote validity period is set in the plugin configuration, with a default of 30 days.

The quote template builds on Shopware’s standard document template. It includes company details, customer addresses, order line items with prices, tax calculations, and payment and shipping information. A comment entered in the document creation dialog is printed below the line items.

The document title, headline and validity text can be adjusted through Shopware’s snippet system. German and English translations are included. For further design changes, the quote template can be overridden in a custom plugin or theme.

Actualize: Quote Document is suitable for merchants who want to generate quote documents for existing orders while working within Shopware’s document management system.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The extension requires Shopware 6.7 or later, but below 6.8, and PHP 8.4 or higher.

The documented quote creation process is based on an existing order. The plugin adds a document type; a separate quote request, negotiation or acceptance workflow is not documented as a feature.

Data is retained by default during uninstallation. Before removing configuration, the plugin checks whether quote documents already exist. The quote documents themselves are never deleted.
