Actualize: Free Shipping Progress Bar

Actualize: Free Shipping Progress Bar shows customers how much more they need to spend to reach free shipping. The extension adds a message to the offcanvas cart summary and the shipping summary in the cart and checkout. An optional progress bar provides a visual indication of progress towards the threshold.

The plugin determines the required amount from the price configuration of the currently selected shipping method. For shipping costs calculated by cart value, it identifies the price tier with zero shipping costs. There is no need to enter a separate free shipping threshold in the plugin.

Progress is calculated using eligible product line items only. Surcharges, promotion line items and products marked as free delivery are excluded. The calculation takes gross or net settings and the currency factor into account.

Once the eligible product value reaches the threshold, an optional success message can replace the remaining-amount message. If every product in the cart is already marked as free delivery, the display is hidden entirely.

The plugin configuration provides separate controls for enabling the feature, displaying the visual progress bar and showing the success message. German and English translations are included.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

According to the project documentation, the extension requires Shopware 6.7.x and PHP 8.4 or higher.

Supported shipping methods must use cart-value-based pricing and include a price tier with zero shipping costs. The display remains hidden for other calculation types, such as weight or line item count, and when the shipping method has no price configuration or no free shipping tier.

Free-delivery products do not count towards the eligible cart value. Customers may therefore still see a remaining amount even when the overall cart total is high.

The plugin visualises an existing free shipping threshold. It does not create free shipping rates or replace Shopware’s shipping cost configuration.
